Over the course of 7 weeks you will learn about:
What mindfulness meditation is and its practical application to everyday life
The therapeutic benefits and beyond of a regular mindfulness meditation practice
How to work with the posture and body in meditation for utmost ease and comfort
How to establish a regular home practice
Ways to navigate common obstacles in the practice
How to gradually work up to practicing mindfulness meditation for 20 minutes a day
Included in the course:
Encouragement to keep a daily meditation journal, along with a journal for you to use
Daily emails sent to your inbox to inspire and support your engagement with the practice
Handouts, resources, and mini-lessons in each class
1 one-on-one session with Meditation Instructor towards the end of the course to check in, offer support, and practice mindfulness meditation together
About the Instructor
Kailey Brennan L.Ac. Dipl. OM is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a longtime interest and enthusiasm for the practice of mindfulness meditation and its practical application in everyday life. Her approach is warm and down-to-earth, emphasizing the simplicity of the practice and its opportunity to help us approach our body and mind with an attitude of curiosity, ease, and friendliness. She is certified to teach mindfulness meditation through The Open Heart Project.
