Esme Evans, L.Ac.

Esme Evans, L.Ac., earned her Masters degree in Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, Colorado in 2022. This three-year accelerated program consisted of 3,045 hours of education, including 1,000 hours of clinical practice. She is certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado.

Esme is trained in adjunctive therapies including electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, tui na, cupping, gua sha, nutrition and lifestyle. She underwent the musculoskeletal program and has experience in treating orthopedic pain, sport related injuries, and neuropathies. In addition to pain management, she has a special interest in women’s health, emotional, sleep and digestive disorders.

She completed a Bachelors degree in Global Studies: Alternative Medicine and Healing Traditions while studying abroad through Long Island University-Global. Esme started her journey in Latin and South America discovering plant medicine, then moved to India to learn from Ayurvedic doctors and very traditional healers.

Onto China the next year, she truly fell in love with Chinese Medicine while learning from cultural guides across Asia. She then planted roots in Indonesia to research the effects of tourism in the Balinese arts and healing community.

To finish her education, Esme moved to New York City to write her thesis and graduate. This cultural filled experience allowed her to explore medicine in its purity and lead her on a TCM path today. Complimentary to her education, Esme is also a certified Reiki Master and Instructor.

Esme is originally from Seattle, Washington and has lived in Colorado for the past eight years. She likes to get outdoors to hike, paddle board, yoga, and just be out in the sunshine!
